Default New Milsim Marker

I am thinking about looking into a MILSIM style marker. I am looking for speed, reliability, and accuracy. There is so much to choose from. I want the most bang for the buck. Any suggestions? Also, I was concerning going to D-Day in OK this year. Any tips or suggestions for that?

By your criteria, I'd say absolutely hands down the Tippmann 98 custom. Really, everything else has a little less bang and requires a lot more buck.

Agreed, can't go wrong with a 98c.

4th for 98 Custom. I'd look into an aftermarket barrel and possibly an e-grip.

The point is that the 98 can be "milsimmed" without having to spend the cash for the extra junk you get with a pre-modded marker.

I really liked the look of F-N-U's 98 M4. Is he around still?

Yeah... And all of the BEST look milsim markers I've ever seen were custom built with something like a 98 as the base. "MILSIM" markers that were designed as such are designed with cosmetics in mind (at least, many of them), not "speed, reliability and accuracy". Not only that, but when you start with a base like 98, you can build it up exactly like you want it. Start off with a "MILSIM" marker and your paying extra for things you can't exactly choose... You just kind of have to go in whatever direction they've already started. And of course, with a "MILSIM" marker you're paying for branding and cosmetics. That is not what I call "bang for buck". If you want bang for buck, you do not want a "milsim" marker.

Project Salvo only costs $150. Complete package is $185. Also it is based on the 98
