Pride of Plainedge Tournament

Engine Company 5 of the Bethpage Volunteer Fire Department is proud to
present the 1st annual "Pride of Plainedge" Paintball Tournament to be held
on Saturday October 3rd, 2009 at Cousins in Coram NY.

Prizes are as follows:

1st Place- $2,500
2nd Place- $1,000
3rd Place- $500
Entry fees are as follows:

Teams of 5 players.

$400/team..Includes equipment rental, 500 paintballs and first air refill.

$500/team..Includes equipment rental, 500 paintballs, first air refill and 2
cases (4,000 rounds) of paint.

No outside paint is permitted. You must purchase paint on the day of the
event. Cases of 2,000 rounds are available from Cousins paintball for
$79.99.

If you own your own equipment, free air refills will be available all day.

If you are eliminated from the tournament, fields will be available for
games all day.


Engine Company 5 will be hosting a post tournament awards BBQ on site. Their
will be hamburgers, hot dogs, beer, soda and water available for purchase.
There will also be raffles available for purchase.

I know this is relly late, but thought I would offer some honest feedback. I am not from NY so things may be different there, but thought I would share.

The biggest thing right off the bat is the cost. not only does it seem to be very high it is confusing. Just charge one price for entry and air. Make it reasonable. Like $250 per team for entry and unlimited air. THe one fill business on air would be hard and will turn people off right away.

Secondly the price per case is pretty high. Even the best grade paint like Ultra evil or Helllfire are about that price. Unless it is one of those two the price is too high.
