that news has been around for almost a year, i have an old one and think the new one looks sick, i may pick one up someday just so i can have another poppet valve marker. the old one was simple wich was the great thing but also pretty heavy because of the way they designed it (mine is red so i call it my brick) but everything i have seen sofar is they did a pretty good job on this one, and for a high end marker the price tag isnt all that bad

you know i never had any problems with the reflective eye, but SP could have done a much better job designing it, they went with a low 200 psi shot pressure so they could eliminate the need for a LPR and just run straight 200 psi through the noid but in doing that the marker needed much larger volumes then something shooting on 500 psi or so, so they ended up with a marker that was much larger than it needed to be
of course SP has always been stuck on this idea that low pressure is better for some reason, and even though lately they have done a good job with a few of the entry / mid level markers i still think they are a bunch of morons |
