Ok dday 2010
the 98C platinum, or any BT Combat model is solid for woodsball. If you are looking for an investment in long run id strongly recommend the TM7 or TM15.
Also, Ions are fairly sturdy if you get a 2nd gen or later model.
As for Oklahoma D-Day 2010. I STRONGLY encourage you to go. It is the mecca of paintball and a world like nothing else. I have gone since 2005, and it is the one vacation i take every year.
I fight as part of the 101st Pathfinders, on the allied side(known better as the Red Army) and no unit out there is quite like us. We set foot on the field together, leave together, and in combat run like a well oiled machine. The pathfinders are special forces, and we expect full commitment from the obstacle course(which is a blast) to fighting with everything you got ALL day on gameday. We camp all in the same area, and if you need something from an extra vest, to duct tape someone has it and will lend it to you with no expectations other than the same courtesy.
