Well they shoot fast if your into that, and come with good parts. But there are many other makers that I would look into before the dm line guns, I personally think that there quite overpriced.

Protos are 800$ and they are made by dye, but with a different name. So if you are in the market for a dm or something like it, i would just go proto.

They are also pretty exclusive... It's not like the Ion plague in which everyone has one... Not many people have that kind of money to invest in a paintball marker....

Well the answer to that is alot of people play serious ball and they want serious equipment to mow down their competion. SO you can bet that that companies like dye will have very expensive equipment, but you get what you pay for, and more, THE BEST! SO for all yall who think that dm's are a waste of money ur not at the serious level and can roll fools wit ions. Also, know one said you have to get a dm4 5 or 6, its ur choice so i bet that the player who wants it, knows what they want and if you know what you want ur probably not wasting money!

all u need is 15+ balls a second, nice reg, and a good barrel. Even though i dont like the Ion they dont suck. If you get one put a new reg and barrel you can hang if you got skills. But DM's are nice.

My DM4 makes women flock to me... It shoots better than any gun I've ever shot... I love it...

And you can't get a DM4 for 400... Usually they're about 550-600 now...

Seems like most kids here don't even have jobs and still play in the woods.

Try playing a Dm series or newer matrix, then compare it to whatever gun you play. These guns are high end markers, made for experiences paintballer players. Look at all the pro's and what they play (I'm not saying this is the reason you should buy a DM) or look at the more advanced players out playing speedball/xball.

I have a 05 Matrix with Virtue board and it's main compatator is the DM6 IMO. It's lighter then the DM4/5 and has more features for a cheaper price. Can't get any better!
