The DM5 is light weight, accurate, fast, and no kick. The gun is super reliable and easy to work on. The DM5 has a clamping no-rise feedneck as stock equipment and the trigger adjustment screws are on the outside of the gun so you don't have to take the trigger frame off.

Mine has a M3 Tadao chip in it and the gun rips and can be adjusted for Xball, NPPL, and whatever other mode that you will need.

My book 9 out of 10 cuz 10 out of 10 would make it perfect.

Lol My teammate has a dm5, outa the box it was a POS, but we worked on it for about 3 months constantly getting new parts, and crap, and now it works very well.

Yeah, months of work make it neccesary, but Youmg just joined and I hope you have been playing for months.....if not, did you get laughed at? Of course.

Uh I played my first game in '89 and I currently am the head writer for this website. As to the DM5, every DM5 that I've seen around here have worked great out of the box. Mine ripped out of the box, in fact when I first got it the gun chronoed great. It's first tournament was at the Orlando PSP a few weeks back and it performed great. Come to think of it, all of the DM5's that were in the team's hands worked great with not one of them going down.

Tippmann07: sorry your buddy had such a rough time for so long. Interesting that it took so long for the gun to get up and working. When I have had to work on a Matrix, very rarely mind you, it was usually simple small things to get it up and running again. I guess you just need to understand how the gun works. In any Matrix, DM3, DM4, or DM5 (actually I've never had to work on a DM5) the most I've ever replaced was the Top Hat or the Back Stem orings. :D

I love my DM5 to death. I plan on being buried with it.

Out of the box it was nice.

Nice light trigger, have had SOME not a lot, but some trouble keeping the eyes clean but hey, that computer cleaning canned air works wonders.

I was able to empty my halo b in about 10 seconds WITHOUT bounce and WITHOUT any other chips.

Gas is a pain in the butt, but hey it's a matrix what do you expect?

Maintence, come on a retarded monkey could do it. Pull the whole bolt out, lube and you're good to go.

All in all a great gun and should help paint prices decrease with the amount of paint you put through it.

I love my DM5 and will until i get a DM6...

The price is a little negative right now, but I got mine BRAND new for %1100.....aahhhh the advantages of hook ups....

9/10

Young: Well i have a dm4 and one of my teammates does too, and my teammate was switchin from alais to dm5 (good choice) but between me and my teammate and tag sports, we got that thing working... replaced all bolt orings, lpr and hpr orings and reset everything, now it works like a charm
