I have been using this Stock/Drop Forward that I made for my Model 98 for approximately two years. It is very strong, compact and lines up sight lines very well. For my marker, it required no air line modifications and uses the stock tank mount. Also, with a 20oz tank, it gives perfect balance at the base of the rear handle. I have made a couple for some friends and they have loved using them. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying these if I made them. Please reply to this post with your opinions of the stock/drop forward as well as what you think a fair price may be, etc. Thank you for viewing!

Sorry for the small pictures on the site. Give me your e-mail if you would like any other shots or sizes. Thanks!

What kind of metal??? Wouldn't it just be easier to buy it from me?

Just kiddin, it's 1/4"x1" steel. Cut, grind, bend, weld, paint, drill....shoot stuff.

You may need a little wider steel for a Spyder though since it has an offset bolt pattern. Let me know how it turns out or I can make one up for you pretty quick if you'd like. Also, since you're leaving the tank where it is, you may have to invest 20 cents in a couple of longer bolts. Keep me posted. Thanks.

Very nice work. :D I like the simplicity and functionality of yours. I hope you can secure some protection for the design. I'd also suggest making some different styles as well. I just bought a Tac-5 and was looking for a stock since they don't have any JT accesories out yet.
The stocks i looked at don't have the position I want. They either screw into the asa making the marker sit really high, or they attach to grip but just go straight back with no drop forward. I wanted a stock with the rear shoulder piece higher, closer to where a real stock would be. So you'd raise it by putting an S curve or angle the rear horizontal piece up 20 degrees from grip. Also, for a sniper position I'd want things tighter, less space between tank and stock. As far as where the tank goes, you could either have it where your's is, just leave the asa in original spot and use longer bolts or put it closer to rear for remote only.

Good Luck.
(I should be studying right now but oh well...) :P

Very solid. I can hold the entire setup with tank and paint by the butte of the stock....that is, before my wrist starts to crack....
