Well since the average user's vocabulary and spelling skills are atrocious, this will be a good way of promoting proper grammar usage.

Here are the rules:

We will be keeping track of your posts, for new members, your posts won't always count cause you're new and such.

Mostly, points will be awarded for correct spelling (typo's excluded) proper punctuation usage and sentence structure. (We'll just ignore paragraphs, since 'Tab' usually takes you to the 'Submit' button)

Some point will be awarded for common mistakes, proper abbreviations ect.

I think you get the point. ;)

This all begins on Monday of next week, and ends the next Sunday.

Good luck!

I put one too many "ect." in there, and missing a double letter is a minor fault. Maybe your keyboard sucks and you have to jam every single letter hard for it to register until my fingers are tired and I can't type anymore...

Oh yes, before I forget.

Mods, you can't play, neither can I.

Oh, and Takon, the "I have excellent spelling thing", that would be a comma splice. :P

That could be two different sentences and still be correct.

"Spelling Mistakes

Don't skip this just because it looks weird. Believe it or not you can read it.

I stole that from somewhere some time ago. I hope I don't get sued for copywrite.
