Phantom is a Phantom. There are and aren't different Phantoms. They're all the same, just different options. You have vertical stock class bodies, right side feed, left side feed, 45 frame, m16 frame, all sorts of options. I doubt you'll find a lot of people willing to trade a Phantom for a Tippmann cosidering they're a $300+ marker. You'll want to add a bit of cash or some other goodies with the Tippmann.

Let's try to keep the B/S/T posts in those forums. ;)
(Mentioning a BST is acceptable though)
You could get a pump kit for that Tippy. There is a post or two on that topic somewhere in this forum. It isn't a Phantom, but, it is a pump setup..

Well about the different types of phantoms ..i think the different options would be considered different phantoms
feed style:
right side feed hopper
left side feed hopper
stock feed tube
old one peice barrel and body
grip style:
m68(i think thats what it is) grip
45 grip
air source:
rear ASA
front ASA
optional Quickchange adapter for stock play
Pump & barrel:
standard 11' barrel w/4' inch pump handle
mircro 6' barrel w/3' inch pump handle

You forgot the center feed body.
The one piece barrel is not a option. That was the only option when they were made like that.
Lonestar or M16 grip.
Bottom line ASA.
8", 14' and other assorted short run barrels at various lengths.
It is all the same under the skin though.
My suggestion to new owners is to go with the set up most like what they are used to using or can afford.
I started with a right hand feed lonestar grip back bottle. The basic setup. It was all I could get at the time.
Hated the back bottle, lonestar grip and I was still shooting to much paint. I now have a 10 rnd SC feed, .45 grips and a MF 88/4500 hooked to a vertical air set up. Ilike the setup better, but, it is still the same marker underneath.
