Hey guys, for my last upgrade I' m looking for a nice hopper and came across this ~~~~~~~~~> Turbo Loader (http://www.anythingxtreme.com/Spyder-Turbo-Loader-Hoppers-P11217C3454.aspx)

What do you think about it? Has anyone used it?

The theory is sound, but I've never used one or seen one used.

Kinda strange I doubt it though. I want to see at least 3 reviews rated 8+ before I buy it.

well think about it. i would imagine it uses the air from your tank. this would mean tht you would have to use compressed air because co2 in its liquid state would ruin paintball. i also think, but don't know for sure that this gets its air from the open 3 ways often found on autocockers and to a lesser extent, impulses.

Here is the link to actual manufacturer....http://turbopaintball.com/

They have a demo on there and instructions for a Spyder, 98c, and Autococker.

It's actually a pretty cool idea but kinda expensive. I wonder how fast it can consistantly feed.... Hmmm....
But anyways....
If you really desire a lighter loader, break out the soldering iron and double 9v battery holder and mount the holder on the gun or wherever :D

It doesn't look like to me. It's basically an inexpensive, agitated, gravity feed hopper that runs off of the gun's CO2 or air instead of batteries. I'd probably use one on a mechanical gun just to keep from having to shake it, but I don't see how it's worth more than about $15 or so.

Read the instructions on the website and you'll know how it works.
The reason I think it's not worth much is that loaders of comparable or slighty better speed can be had for $15- $20. With this, you're paying more than double for the gimmick of using air to run the agitator, saving a couple of ounces. For that much dough, you could have a Revy or possibly a used force feed loader.

well after some research you have to have a blowback.
for a 98 you needa r/t and you cut the micro line or r/t line, stcik a 3 way barb in there, connect the formyl cut micro in the 2 sides and one micro from the hopper "engine" to the barb.

and for spyders you put somting in the avle pin thing and connect the hose to the hopper.

the hopper is continus aggtating and it uese a plastc rod bent backwards and it like moves forwards and like bats the balls.....alot of jumping.

jsut get a revvy for 20 bucks...lol alot simpler...and faster.

do you even know what blow back MEANS?
They can be used on AUTO-COCKERS. autocockers are the most well known closed bolt markers on the planet

Yes, he knows what a cocker is. Before any one else makes a stupid mistake of buying one, they're buildable at home. These guys just took an ancient idea, fancyfied it, gave it a label and are now selling it. It's really a do it at home project that any one could do if you're half way intelligent.

yea i know what block back means....they say it can be used oncockers....but they have yet to explain how to so i wont post about that

i have a block back and a cocker....actually..lol

jsut for giggles...

blowbakc is the term used for low end mech guns in which is cocked but vavle (im gonna say pin, vavle pin, but i cant remember the nanme) smaking the front of the hammer/striker and cocking it on the sear. when trigger is pulled it slides the sear down under the bolt lip and the bolt (which is driven by a spring) smacks into the vavle opening it up and sending air thoguh the bolt and fireing the paintball.
