Yeah, we've heard all the rumors for the past few months, but Brandon L from the team posted this on another site:

PBNation Post from Brandon:
>
> Im guessing that Raoul knows Tristan Brown. Could be wrong.
>
> But yes, Chris has left the team. He said he was quiting paintball, not just
> the team. He told us he was going to take this time to work on starting up
> his business. We wish him the best.
>
> So to all the so called fans that will lose hope in this team. Im sure we
> will see you next event wearing the jersey of whatever the hot team is for
> that moment.........and to all the true fans......We arent going anywhere
> and we appreciate your TRUE support. Have faith, it is a sport after all and
> teams always have ups and downs....I could have sworn it was just last year
> we were winning everything and the XSV and DYNASTY werent. We lost alot of
> core players and that will effect ANY team.....but not for long. We will be
> back stronger and better. Keep believing in us. It will pay off.

That's too bad. Infamous is one of my preferred teams, I don't really have a favorite. It's a bummer to see a team loose a star player like that, but they'll recover.

Good thing he left. He was an extremely rude player who would do anything to win. He helped to scar paintball's image.

I agree with joey. While Lasoya is a very good player, his behavior (on and off field) leave a LOT to be desired. I firmly believe he was a stepping stone for the problems of severe aggression seen on the fields today.

Hope he does well in his business, but thankfully that won't be the business of being on the field ;)

Screw that. LaSoya gave a kid a concussion, not to mention while using a "cheater" marker. Then after that, he talked like it was cool. Did I mention that this happened in an amateur tourny. Has was banned from 3 or 4 different tournies for bad behavior.

I am sad he left because he was a good player. But I didnt like his long hair. It looked girly.

he was a cheater and as doorman said, not a very ideal "role model"

also, who was that guy a few years ago that during a tourny, was hiding in the woods behind a field and was shooting people out and blah blah.

I thought it was strange that he left PB at the same time Procaps and NPS went public with their disagreement/seperation. I wonder if it has something to do with that.

Also heard he owned/managed a rave club in Canada somewhere. Most ravers are assumed to be into a "alternate lifestyle". Maybe the hair was supposed to be "girly". I am not saying he is, but, it would be good for his other business. Image is everything in the entertainment world.

The way it went was LaSoya was playing in an amateur tourny. He bunkered a kid and lit the kid up like 15 times point blank range with a cheater marker.

it doesn't matter to me the he wasn't a great role model, it's all cool, but it's too bad he's leaving, and whats a "cheater" marker?

So he cheats, big deal. Most of them do.Go to any big event and stand on the sidelines.I promise you'll see people cheat. So he used an illegal gun, hes not the first or the only.Greenspan(only one I could think of off he top of my head) has been caught several times and no one seems to think less of him.Rude?Ever heard of Markus Neilson? If you think your favorite pro is a squeeky clean player your gullible and I feel sorry for you.If you were competeing for $26,000 I can say with confidence that any of you would do anything in your power to get it.

BTW,Hes not gone perminately
