I cant stand it any more what is the diference between the wrath and the ion. please post the true statement.

better stuff about the wrath= built better, higher rate of fire, better stock barrel, twist lock feedneck, not plastic

better stuff about the ion= quieter, a lil more air efficient, lighter, less kick.


the choice is yours!! ha ha yea i kno how you feel, it took me like 3 months to decide on which one to get also. i have a wrath and i personally like it better. one of the bigger things that i dont like about the ion is that the feedneck isnt that great and you have to open up the gun just to get to the bolt, whereas the wrath has a quick strip pin.

the ion is better it might not be as fast but its more acurate and its not plastic thats just the outside its got all metal parts on the inside and thats what counts

I bought a Wrath because I found a great deal on one used ($99). That might be one thing to consider (resale value) because I can't find an Ion used for that cheap. I felt an Ion and kind of liked the feel better (it's smaller and I have small hands.) The Wrath is nice but the grip is kind of big. The Ion didn't feel cheap when I was looking at it. If you're buying one new and they cost the same you should find one of each and see which on you like better. Good luck though, around here every paintball store has the Ion but nobody has a Wrath or even knows anything about it.

I chose the Wrath over the Ion. I had shot both guns prior to my purchase and they were pretty close to the same. The wrath has a little more kick and weighs a little more. The Wrath felt better in my hands than the Ion. It has a more solid look and feel. The Ion reminded me of a toy. The wrath also has the LCD screen(I really like it). The Ion is going to be more popular because it has more upgrades. That is the main reason stores know more about the Ion and carry more of them. I'm not dissing the Ion at all and I think its a great marker, I just liked the wrath better.

Ion's are like Honda Civics.... So many upgradeable parts

Don't get me wrong the Ion is a great gun so is the Wrath.. Your best option is to go to a field and ask someone if you can shoot their Markers, this way you have a feel for each one.. Then after that make your choice.

ION I just shot them both and the wrath is nice but it chops like no other. Accuracy is about the same. They are both a steal for thier price. I took the Ion home with me because it is much lighter the plastic shell who cares.

i have felt an ion, i played with one yesterday. i have also played with a wrath. i guess it is just a personal prefference. i liked the wrath better. the major positive points were: faster cycleing speed, low pressure, better feedneck.

Ion is just a better gun.....my neighbor has a Wrath and thing does nothing but chop and chop and jam up....My ion is great, its like a plastic SHocker, lol :)

u mustve never used a shocker.... It is a closed bolt marker and the shocker is closed bolt and they are both made by smart parts.... Just about the only similarites

The reson the ion is so cheap is the shell is plastic. The reson the wraith is cheeper is it's a mid range company. Plus I think the wraith looks better stock. Also the blackheart board for the ion can be outperformed by the t-board for the wraith (yes such a thing exists) The wraith probly needs a better bolt though.

the tboard is for the ion now too. Anyways yes it feels KINDA like a shocker but IMO its nothing like a shocker except its close bolt. Its your personal opinon go with what you like
