I use a Ronin suspender style SC harness with the suspenders cut off. I couldn't get it to fit comfortably over the belly. After I cut off the suspenders it fit well. I bought it used from Joeha. He got a back pack SC harness and quit using it.

My first "harness" was a shotgun vest. I cut the bottoms out of the shell holders and slid the tubes in them.

I use the Ronin Gear harness like you pictured. I love it. I started out carrying tubes in my pocket, but that was a pain. I then got a wrist holder to carry em', but eventually got the Ronin Gear harness and I love it. The suspender type harness is nice, but I don't like how it places the tubes and 12grams on your front, hard spots/=bounces.

I picked up a few wrist holders for extremely cheap ($1.00 each) and then cut the wrist wrap off. I then sewed them to my 3A pack on the sides. Works very well and I like the support my pack gives my back.

I just carried em' around in my pocket for the longest time. It's just like playing semi though, a nice harness makes things that much easier.

I'm going to assume you have a 68, they fit. I started putting mine on my tank. Well the one I had did. I got a shot gun shell holder that slips over the shot gun stock. You can get them at Wal Mart for about $6. I think it holds like 10 tubes. It went from my wrist to about an inch short of my elbow, so it basically covered my fore arm. It fit snugly on my tank, but it wouldn't fit if it had a cover on it.

I have carried them in my pockets. Played a few games with only a tube in hand. Used the vest. Tried the suspenders. Now I use the belt like a vertical pack. I put the tubes in the back slots. Alot of the time I still go with a tube in hand or pocket at the end of the day when I am at the bottom of my 100 or 200 rnd bag.

The pouch idea should work fine. Just put the used tubes in you pocket or drop them (with tops on or attached somehow). Trying to put them away will only distract you. That is when I usually get put out if I am way to laid back and trying to slide a tube back in the belt. :D

If I loose something, it is the whole tube. Lost 3 at Badlands when a few of us PB.com memebers got together for a shoot in Chicago. That was a game and half worth at least.

I have more caps than I do tubes now. I have crushed several when I put them in my pocket after I empty them. Crawling and crouching can be rough on them.

they dont look sturdy at all....just look like plastic shaperd in a tube..thin plastic...think it would be better if tghey was alot thicker such as actual pods..

I started out just filling a pocket with paintballs. moved onto filling a tube and putting it in my pocket. finally, I picked up a ronin wrist harness. fits 5 tubes. I wrao it around my 9oz, which is mounted on the back of my phantom in a bottomline setup. Works great, and leaves my wrists free. (I hated having it on my wrist. got in the way of everything).

You can see a picture of the whole setup here:
