So i guess it's ment for your own scuba tank so u can fill your bottle when u'r on the field, but that makes it so complicated.
Which scuba tanks would b good and not expensive at the same time, do u need some handling classes on how to store and use u'r scuba tank ?
Any preferences ? Anyone ever used that or had a firend with that ?

If it wouldn't b expensive i'd look into that since me and my few friends could buy one, something i'm concidering but don't know about price, model, storage and handling.

i dont know that u could safely use a scuba tank without a reg. and i dont think that u could fill a tank to max pressure becouse the pressure in the scuba tank would decrease and put out less pressure in to ur tank as it would become harder to fill ur hpa tank

hope that junk made sence

oh and get a steel tank *gets out scuba handbook* it will wheigh more but it will not dent and it wont rust cause ur not going under water. i think its cheaper too

Alot of people fill from SCUBA's, I guess they get about 60 fills from a tank, but im not sure on the size.

SCUBA tanks are filled to 3000psi so this is the max pressure you will get from it. The paintball fill stations for SCUBA tanks should come with instructions on how to fill the paintball tank.

It would be a good idea to get some training from your local field or SCUBA shop on how to properly fill your paintball tank. Improper procedure can cause serious bodily harm or even death.

i hve 2 scuba tanks and there max is 3000 psi. they cost around $120. but the only reason i hve them is cuz i hve my own lil paintball field at my house. in my opinion its not worth it for everybody cuz i only get like 3-4 fills for my small steel compressed air tank. and after you get a tank you hve to get an adapter wich i got for $60 but thats he cheapest ive found it, every where else they were $80. if i didnt pb at my house i wouldnt get it cuz at my local field its only $5 for unlimited fills. but if you have the money and you think its worth it for you then go ahead and get it. and its reeeely easy to operate, you basicly just stick the adapter on and fill, just dont overfill your tank cuz it might blow up lol. hope that helps

The only way (or at least the best) is to have several tanks that are at the max pressure of your end use bottle. This removes the chance of an over-pressure. Set up a cascade system and ensure that the end use bottle is in a blast proof blow out container.

And have fun!
