i just bought one, i have not used it in an actual match but i have tested it out, i have had some problems and some questions, first my problem: when shooting i found that i would pull the trigger a few time quick and it would probrobly shoot one ball, then shoot 2 blanks. it also has problems shooting in full auto and bursts for the same reasons, like on full auto it would shoot 1 ball 2 blanks, 1 ball a few blanks and so on. it only seems to shoot well tilted upwards.
so now on to my questions, would the different springs have an effect on the problems above? i have replaced the blue spring with red.
I also replaced the battery with a non rechargable one with advise from an employee at a paintball store, would this make a difference?
and last, should i try to bring it back?

None of those are the problem, the problem is that you are outshooting your hopper. I assume you are using just a regular gravity feed one? You need to get an agitated hopper to keep up with the marker.
A 12v Revvy, or EvoII will do the job quite nicely.

That's your problem, the Quantum doesn't feed any faster than a gravity hopper :(

A quick EBay search showed me that a Revvy and ReLoader go for 40-50 bucks and a Evlution for 60-70.
