The Spyder Xtra is a good choice.

how about the mongoose 2? i heard it chops the balls easily if you dont have a electronic hopper and battery life sucks is this true?
looking around i found a silver bullet for 140 and a E-Force EXT 2k4 for 145 which is more worth it? cause the silver bullet has a guage for the air supply and looks like higher quality but the eforce has more firing modes and stuff

Spyders are decent, but a Tippmann 98 is a little more durable.

Got with the spyder. Many of the people I know who own the mongoose and the silver bullets have problems. The spyders are easy to maintain and clean. And they are reliable.

I prefer the 98 Custom... You HAVE to try to break this one.

any spyder will serve you well. the xtra is mechanical, and won't have full auto, but its useless anyway, since its illegal on many fields.
-any spyder that fits your budget
-electric loader
-tank
-mask
-play as often as you can!

i have a tippmann 98 and it has worked verry well ( exept for the time i left the ball detent out) it is duable and upgradable. i put a flatline on my and it made it verry accurate.
