i just got a cocker and was wondering if i should be expecting any problems down the road

Nope cockers are great guns. If you got it used then you might want to invest for a new one in a while but other than that nope great guns.

Nothing much to go wrong with a cocker. Hit your local proshop and see if they can give you a hands on about how to time it. Other than that, everything that might go wrong is just replacement of pieces....which you will then have to time the marker afterwards. So as you see, timing it is the base of what needs to be done.
