nice a5.....
i love that trigger

What I love about that trigger is that it's adjustable. I can actually walk my A-5 with that, but the recoil makes for some inaccurate shots when shooting that fast.

JCS blade trigger by Blackpoint Engineering.

They should make 90* frames for tippmans, then they would be more compact...nice A-5 though

For an A5 that's a really nice setup. I'd take that over those milsim A5's any day. Sweet marker man.

Yeah, I play speedball primarily. Though I find the cyclone feed system to be a disadvantage in speedball...can't look down the right side without this big ol' dookie plastic thing stickin' out. I rarely use it.

Yes, it's for egrip only...I have it set so close to the contact point that the safety doesn't work. I can't tell you how many times i've shot myself in the foot. All the upgrades....well, lemme see:
12" Dye Ultralight
E-grip
JCS blade trigger
AIM68 inline reg
Dead On Paintball RVA
32 Degrees Starfire bolt
CP Lightning drop
CP drop/grip adapter
CP on/off
Maddman spring kit
stainless steel nuts and bolts (factory ones suck..corrode very easily)
I think that's it. There's not much more I can put on it besides a new power tube. It rips...it turns heads when I start walking the trigger. Only drawback is that since it has such a high operating pressure, the kickback when firing that fast makes for slightly innaccurate shots. I did however drop the pressure from 850 to 600 using an inline reg that I screwed directly into the tombstone valve (saw no need for a vert adapter, waste of money if you ask me) and a new spring behind the hammer. The stronger spring gives the hammer more kick while operating at a lower pressure. I dunno if anyone else has thought of doing this with their A-5 but it works.

05-24-2005, 06:54 PM
Tippmann has a low pressure system, if that's what you wanted. It's on their website. Just thought I'd let you know.
xPropheTx
05-24-2005, 07:06 PM
Yeah, I know about the LP kit. I did the whole reg/spring thing to my A-5 before the LP kit came out. I would probably get it but it's too expensive and i'm done upgrading my A-5 (plus the LP kit looks like pooties). I'm focusing more on my Cocker and getting a Phantom.

Until they get bunkered  . I think my skills are up there enough to take on the taunts. People at my local field treat pump players like they're a freak show..kinda funny actually. I know this has nothing to do with pumping, but the best was when some dude went out on the field with a slingshot. People watching were bustin' up like crazy..laughing and making jokes.......till the guy eliminated 3 people with gog shots. Best damn thing i've ever seen on the field. It just proves that it doesn't matter what you are using...if you got skills, you will do good.

I know what you mean.My dad has one.How much that trigger set up cost?
xPropheTx
06-02-2005, 07:34 PM
The trigger itself was like 35 or 40 bucks. I actually got it for free cuz they sent me two by accident. When I called to find out if they billed me twice they told me to just keep the second one. I sold it to some kid on here.

walking is when u hit the trigger with alternating fingers. its like your fingers walking on a desk. you need an electronic trigger frame. it allows you to reach much higher rates of fire than just pulling the trigger normally. ;) ;) ;)

If i was goin to do a modification like that i think that i would ditch the cyclone feed and then just get a electric hopper, but ive never seen it done before.
