Would it be worth buying or is it not that important, I've read that you don't really lose air anyway, but instead it's just the leftover gas in the gas line, so with that said, is it necessary to get an on/off valve?

Also, Doorman, you said that dropforwards have on/off valves/switches, is this true for all of them?

It isn't necissary but it makes tank removal a heck of a lot easier. You can also turn it off and then shoot the excess gas out of the marker and leave the tank attached forever if you wanted to. This is because there is nothing pressing the pin in the top of the tank.

Not all drops come with them, you have to look for the ones specifically stating they have an on/off for them. More and more of them are putting them on though.

The CIP Unimount, Dead On Products, Psychoballistic, and a few others I can't remember off the top of my head have on/off capabilities. You can also purchase an adapter that screws into the valve on the top of your tank and this screws into the drop. It's made by Smart Parts.

alright, thanks man. I'll probably hold off on one for now but look into them again another time.
