I have heard the level 10 bolts are very hard to tune and get right. Is this true? are they worth it?

Most of it is player preferance. The main thing you have to do is find the right balance of carrier size for the orings, and number of shims (how long it takes for the on/off to open). It takes time, lots of air, and even more patience. And then tune in right spring size and your good to go. You can go threw 3 tanks of air and not find the right set-up. What your looking for is:

-No chopping
-still fires ( no chuffing) full cycles.
- No run-away (ramping) unless you want it to go full auto and get kicked from the field.

Keep in mind 800 psi.

The LV 10 should chuff to prevent a chop. And it has nothing to do with run away. The ULT would be the upgrade to worry abhout run away with and you really don't need much air to get that tuned right. The LV 10 does take a little bit of time to tune but ince it's tuned it pretty much stays tuned .

My dad has one on his RT Pro. It didn't seem to hard for him to get tuned in and that's saying something. LOL He also got the ULT and had that run away problem. It was cool and not cool, but he got that worked out pretty easy. Now everything is working like a charm.

I said it shouldn't chuff if it fully cycles. And your'e saying you don't have to change anything with your on/off to get it tuned right? My inference was you do need a bit of air because that is from my past experiences.

Yes I'm saying you don't need to do anything to your on/off to get it tuned right. If you have a ULT then there are issues with getting the two to work together but that is not a LV 10 issue. If you install it properly you use the stock on/off tune it then put the ULT in and tune that IIRC. I use an RT Valve so it is irrelevant to me I do not have a ULT.
