I'm looking to get a progressive barrel for my TL-X I don't know if I should get a 12" or a 14" though. Which one should I get? I am also having trouble deciding if I should get black or silver. Which do you think would look better on my TL-X? There's a picture in my sig.EDIT the picture is gone

14" is the most common length, it's a good all around length. I'd get black, because I don't like silver or chrome.

Well, I don't see a picture in your sig so I can't see your color scheme, but I would go with black. Silver is just too shiny and will draw attention. As far as length, go with a 14".

The 14" would be better becauze it is somewhat more accurate than a 12". I would go with a black barrel, just cuz I think it would look better.

i would get a 10 inch just cuz i like how short barrels look. and the length doesnt matter cuz its not gunna make it more accurate.

They don't make 10" progressives. 14" Silver

I know that as long as the first 8 inches of the barrel are not ported, the barrel will be just as accurate (i would go ten inches to be safe). Then the length of the barrel will make it quieter, because the more length, the more porting at the end of the barrel. More porting will also make your gun less air-efficiant because so much air is blown out of the holes instead of at your ball. Most woods-ball players like to use longer barrels for sound-reduction and most speedball players like to use shorter barrels for mobility (although some speedball players like longer barrels so they can wrap their gun around bunkers and expose less of themselves). I hope that helped you with your purchase. B)
