Is it just me or do they smell like ###### (literally) when it's muggy out? When it's dry it's no problem, but when it's muggy...ugh. Wondering if maybe I just got a bad case or something. Anybody else notice this?

I don't use them so I couldn't tell you. However, the components of a paintball are such that they generally do smell/taste nasty on humid days. Parts of the gelatin start breaking down, the glycol inside starts to fume a little, and you get a projectile that is better suited for catfish bait ;)

Get shot in the mask and you can't help but taste them ;)

You can just get those and put them on under your mask. Keeps the paint from splattering in and on your mouth =p
lol, but when what about when snake gets hot and i try to yell it any no one hears me :)
Steel paintballs smell not bad, but they smell a lot. I was playing with my settings and shot about a hopper from 100 feet away, and i could smell the paint in my house about 500 feet away for like an hour.

I've used all sorts of things to try to stop paint splatter from getting through the mask. All of them have done the same things, increased fog factors and decreased how far I can yell. So I opt just to eat the paint :D

The course near me's indoor, I don't have to yell very loud to be heard. =p Sucks to be you guys I guess :D
And on eating paintballs, I wouldn't try a Victory. As horrible as they smell I shudder to think what they taste like. =/
