Is my spyder rodeo good enough to join a paintball team and play in tournaments with? or do i need to upgrade to a better gun?

You can use it just fine. Make sure you are using HPA as it is going to be more consistant for you. Get your feet wet in tournaments with it, and as your skill improves you can upgrade to a different marker if you choose.

Thats a good gun. It would be better if you use an Electronic gun but you have a start. Just learn how to use your bunkers, be able to walk your trigger, and show the people with E-markers that you can light them up with a mech. ;)

personally i don't like the rodeo(first of all it's mechanical,second of all the trigger is gay and(i don't think adjustable?)third of all to slow!! My friend has one and is selling it for $110 with a hopper Co2 and a mask and a 14'' all american smart parts barrell.So if u want to buy it his s/n is SmartyAllAmerican.(the gun has been used 4 times, he just doesn't like it so he needs someone to buy it ,he has 4 guns.(buy it it is in mint condition) for $110? that's like a 200$ package right there!!1

The spyder will do just fine. As you get more experience look into a higher end gun.

dyepaintlayer, i smoke people with my mech cocker, you dont need to rip paint to beat people... Too slow? i probably cant hit 8bps and i still light people up, and people with their little 1200 dollar guns and etc. Its the player not the gun, he doesnt even need to shoot lanes, he can just play front. Dont listen to him PBnewb, your gun is fine... Just practice with it and practice all the basics like playing tight, if you can hit ###### fine, then youll do just fine, but if your balls are curving all over, just get a new barrel and like doorman said, HPA for more consistant shots.

Also, look at Bad Company, Kingmans spyder team, and they kick ######... Or tippman effect, yet again, they kick ######...

i neva said u did need to rip paint? i just said if u want something fast Don't get it ? and yeah i know i have a spyder imagine and a tippmann 98 c, and i play just fine (but even i want something faster) and think its tournrey's? i would neva go into a tourney with my tippmann TOO SLOW!!!
