Depends on the rules you play by. Some folks do only body hits count wile others do any thing that can get hit with paint on your person will be called as a hit.

We call ourselves out if we get hit on the gun/hopper/tank.

I never have understood why marker hits shouldn't count. It is a essential part of the game. If it gets hit, it should count.

The only way I would let a rule like that go is to have the marker eliminated. You have to lay it down and play without it.

If you don't consider it a essential part of the game, no hits should count.

I have always played marker hits count. It's just as much your fault for leaving your marker out then it is if you get shot in the foot.

I played against some newbies on Saturday that didn't know the field played marker hits. They had been playing body only. Anyway I was in the snake and hit his hopper, he was down at the other end of the snake in a baby brick. I told him to get out, but he kept playing and popped over the top, so, with my new Shocker, I just hosed his hopper till it popped open and lost his paint. It was pretty amusing. He called his self out then.

it depends on whether your playing kill zone but normally yes marker hits do count

I hit this kid in the gun and he said he wasnt out, but I told him he was so he agreed with me b/c it was his first time there. This other time this kid got hit in the hopper I think and the guy that hit him said he was out, so the kid got mad and grabbed his gun. The got painted him yellow. The kid couldnt feel anything though because he was wearing bubblewrap.

when i get hit(which is hardly ever cuz i am so dam good) lol, i always get hit in the hopper on my a-5 and i cant see it cuz of that big flat part on the front of the hopper. so when i do see it and im in a game i do a lil :unsure: and then wipe wipe wipe PLAY ON PLAY ON soldier.

at the field I play at mostly, marker hits count, when its me and my crew, we don't count marker hits body only

All depends on what rules you play. I've played before where only the torso counts.....that wasnt the funnest game ever, especially for my friend scott. He got nailed, if you know what i mean........its ok, he lived.

I dont like hopper hits, marker Hits count. Just the way I play.
