I used to be O'Leary. Plain and simple. Now I have noticed that 1: I cannot log in 2: my name has been changed in the forums I have already posted in previously before the software change. Please help fix this.

Yeah, pretty sure it happened to all of us. I sent an email a couple days ago when they first switched... I decided to go ahead and make this account just to reply to questions. It wouldn't make much sense for the knowledgable members that have been here a long time to not be able to post while new members are asking questions, so hopefully the user agreement violation will be forgiven. ;)

Hey Stealthy and everyone else. Because the passwords are not encrypted the same way, you need to request a lost password (which will allow you to reset it). Make sure you unspam burt@paintball.com or if possible anything at paintball.com.

I think my account is working properly.. Though my PMs are a bit messed up. All my sent messages were in my inbox (I had messages in there from like 4 years ago it was weird seeing some of that stuff) and all my inbox was in my sent items. Just so you know if this happens to anyone else. Thanks.

Also is it possible to get the Sigs lengthened past 500 characters... I liked the 15 line max thing better. Thanks again.

Yeah^ Mine did that too. I posted about it and the smilies in the other thread in the discussion forum.

Another thing that is different is that IMG tags aren't allowed in sigs. Not sure if that is intentional or not.

Yeah i think it isnt allowing BBcode, but using HTML or some other type of coding.

Another problem is the limit of 4 pictures per post. With my grip design thread I was doing 10 per post. Which was okay. But 4 per page could get tedious. Also is there a way to auto quick reply instead of having to click a button every time? Thanks.

Also should P B N really be blocked? I know there are a lot of stupid people on there, but there are is a lot of good info on there also. Plus it ruins any links to any thread you may have on that site. I use that site as much as I do this one, and dont see why it needs to be blocked. Unless someone was on here spamming up the forums with links to there... Like someone actually from P B N not just some stupid kid trying to be annoying, you know what I mean?

Ok, I missed it the first time, but here is how I have to do it, so be nice...

Type all words you want censored in the field below. Do not use commas to separate words, just use spaces. For example, type 'dog cat boy', rather than 'dog, cat, boy.'

If you type 'dog', all words containing the string 'dog' would be censored (dogma, for instance, would appear as '***ma'). To censor more accurately, you can require that censors occur only for exact words. You can do this by placing a censor word in curly braces, as in {dog}. Signifying 'dog' in the curly braces would mean that dogma would appear as dogma, but dog would appear as '***'. Thus your censor list may appear as: cat {dog} {barn} barn

Do not use quotation marks and make sure you use curly braces, not parentheses, when specifying exact words. So, lots of fun for me!

I'd probably open up the file in notepad and try a little find and replace magic. Whatever you have in between words, you replace with "} {", and then you just have to fix the beginning and end. Eg, if you have "dog, cat, goat, sheep" you replace ", " with "} {" and then just add brackets before dog and after sheep. Back when I discovered the power of find and replace, when I was writing html, it was like finding gold.

Should be able to change that in your settings, though I kind of like it doing that. It would be annoying if I got email notification, but I don't, and it's a good way to keep up with threads I've posted in, because much of the time I can't find them again, because everything is so scattered.

Edit: Actually I don't see a way to change that, it seems to only allow you to change whether or not and how you are notified of responses.

Edit2: I wish I could give myself infractions. I'd give myself 1000 points for being bad ***.
