98 or autococker

Should I upgrade my 98 or buy a new auto cocker. I heard that 98 were not very fast so with a double trigger how much will it help. If i upgrade it it will cost about the same as getting a new auto cocker.
or should I get a electric gun. IF so what gun?

ok a ive seen ppl up their tippys do mods and got their mech tipy up to 14 bps...

u can by a ebolt kit (used....they discontinued production) for about 170 and that can get u about 14bps....tahts bout it...

now if ur thinking about ions think about a b2k pds also.....nice guns....out there longer u know....jsut throwing that out..

i dont know that much about auto-cockers so im gonna let someone else speak about that

Well if you're going to play alot of speedball don't use the tippmann. Get an Ion or cocker. If you just want something real fast and simple the Ion is the way to go. Depending on which cocker you get you can go from mechanical, to electro, to pump and they're pretty complicated to mess with sometimes. I'd get the cocker, but only cause I'm partial to pumps. You're best bet is probably the Ion.

Tippmann discontinued the 98 ebolt kit??? Wow. So what do they have for the 98 now? An egrip like the A-5?

the great thing about an autococker is that you get amazing accuracy from the closed bolt. also the hinge trigger is great and with a prostock mechanical autococker you can walk the trigger at 14 bps, the same as a tippman with every available upgrade. Then if you put an E2 frame on the cocker after you save up some more you'll never have to worry about outracing your gun ever again. buy a cocker!!
