If your just going out to play woodsball does it really matter what kind of balls you get. I've used good evil balls and cheap balls I cant tell any difference. Is Is it worth paying the extra money for a bead blasted brrrel or not.

wow, let me tell all of you that I know first hand that there is a major gap between cheap rec paint and high grade paint such as ultra evil or Karnage Rip series. When you are in the woods it might not be wise to get the highest level of paint, but if you ever play speedball I would urge you to at lest spend a little extra money. The higher grade paint is brighter, thicker, stickier, and has a more brittle shell. That means no bounces and no wipes.

in sup air in tournys u should use evil or marbilizer i think
if the cheap balls are working for you use them.
i know for practice paint i use some cheap stuff but it just shoots well in my gun for some reason. shoot whatever works for you. the more expensive the better quality you will get though.

seconds (aka the white box) are ok if you have a tipp. The important things to remember with those markers and all low end ones for that matter is that they have a high bolt pressure. That means don't use soft break or brittle shell paint. It will break as soon as you start to fire.

Bad paintballs are for targets.
Then get good paintballs for more use.

I've bought really good brown box special paint before. The thing with cheap paint is it's inconsistent. Sometimes it's good other times it's crap. And it's usually never quite as good as say Chronic. One day I was explaining that to my noob buddy and I took a cheapo ball and threw it as hard as I could against a barrel, and it bounced. I then took a chronic and just lobbed it against the barrel and it broke. I've done that with cheap paint too, but not all the time. With the more expensive paint they're pretty much always the same, the don't vary much from batch to batch. The extra $20 is usually just a guarantee that it's good paint. For woods I'd just go with the brown box paint. If you're playing tourney go for something like Chronic or Nelson Special Forces.
