chopping paint

Allrite i have used my impulse twice now and the first time i only broke like two balls. The gun is stock. The second time i broke alot more. I also was shoting faster. I have a empire reloader. If i buy an egg 2 will that help with my problem. Also i am thinking about buying the shocktech superfly bolt. Is this anygood?

Don't Impulses have vision? If you have your eyes on, assuming it has them, it won't do that. It also depends on what kind of paint you have, if it's crap paint, that might be the problem. I don't think your loader is too fast for it, it should work fine. Maybe try turning it down to the lowest feed rate. And yes, Shock Tech Supa Fly bolts are nice.

Not all impulses have vision. Also i am using heat. This worked fine for it during the first time i used it. Also i dont think my loader is to fast i think my loader is to slow.

Ok. I think I see what you mean about your loader. When I read Empire Reloader, I was thinking of Reloader B, like the Halo. The Reloader is like a Revy, if that's so, it is to slow and an Egg would help a lot.

at first i thought it was a reloader B also....if so i would say get new ball detents but since it ant clean the gun complety lube and crud.....mybe a new bolt....but deff get a faster hopper

Does your Impulse have Vision or not? If it doesn't, then that's definately why. Without vision, Impulses can only shoot about 13 a second and if you go that fast, you'll probably chop a lot. I would suggest a WAS board. They are better because they allow you to shoot faster and they come with a brand new vision eye. My Impulse didn't have vision and I got a WAS board for it and I never chop. You can get them from Wicked Air Sports (http://www.wickedairsportz.com) for $150.

isnt WAS board a ramping board? I believe it is and i am getting into tournaments soon so that would be illegal.

it sad how you ^^^^^^^^^^^^ saw a impyer in need and said something totaly random, now no the WAS board is leagal in all tournys that is wat is good about the ECS with custom vision is wat is illegal i think but ask sureal im not sure. but deffinetly go WAS theese things rip

I didnt take time to read all the replys so sorry if i repeat something but here could be your problems:

1. Your reloader if pushing too much pressure on your paint and they are getting by the detents so that there are two balls in the chamber and you fire and they both blow up.

2. Your vision is not on and a ball is not in the chamber

3. Your paint is too big/small for your barrel and it is breaking in the barrel

4. You dont have vision

5. If you are using very small paint, the reloader could be pushing the first ball down, and a tinny bit of the top ball is in the chamber so the bolt cuts it off when it shoots the ball below it.

what i would do:

1. get new detents, that probably is the problem. Or if you dont have vision buy vision
2. Shoot bigger paint.

he has like a revy sort of hopper, we established that earlier, i know you didnt read the posts but that was in it so he needs a new hopper becasue it dosnt loaad fast enough

Does your gun have eyes? Maybe you forgot to turn them on. Do you have an Empire Reloader B or just the Reloader. If you have the Reloader, then yes an EvoII should be a big help in the prevention of chopping. If you own the Reloader B, then the EvoII will be a step in the wrong direction. As far as the superfly bolt goes; Yes it's an excellent bolt.
