Real Men?

Why does this forums title say real men? Men who dont play stock arnt real men?
And what about the women stock players? :blink:

well its just saying that if you have a stock class gun and your vs. super uber ramping timmys etc. You seem like more of a man/woman because you dont need to hide behind 31 bps paint sheild

You will have to take the "Real Men" part of the forum title up with pbadmin.

It is not realy my style, although I do tend to agree with it. I don't get into boasting. If my game doesn't speak for itself, running my mouth won't do any good.

You could try taking a SC marker onto a field with good players with emarkers, and, see how you feel about it afterwards. It could be a life changing experience.

you can use a pump for speedball it makes it more extreme and intense

I play almost all speedball and have for years. The modified SC Phantom is my choice to take on the field most of the time. Mostly new players and a few local tourny players thrown in. The best days are when the regional players make a appearance. They keep it interesting.

If you ever do care why the term "real men" is at the front of the title, try it out. It is the only way to fully understand it.

Talons and any other Brass Eagle markers don't even count as pumps in my book. And it's not the point to hurt people. It does suck to get bunkered with 10 balls, but...it's even more embarrasing to get bunkered with a one ball pump when you have a high speed 20bps rope slinger. ;)

You just got bunkered. 1 or 10, it is all bad.

Bunkered with 10 should earn your opponenet a self elimination. You get to take them out of the game, and, they paid for the paint.

LOL. I know they use to have some nice stuff back in the day. I'm referring to their modern stuff, i.e. Talon. I don't consider them pumps, I consider them toys or a gag gift for your fellow paintballer. :) Besides, how many people besides are hard core pumpers and old folks(no offense guys) know about those?

Yes, they used to make quality over quantity. That was the original BE. The modern incarnation (after a couple of buy outs)has a different marketing approach.

what really hurts is when a kid with a gun that culd bunker sum 1 and hit um in the back 10 times just got popped in the back by a 1 shot pump :P

breeze, pbc president, likes to play pump... he's wierd like that. i guess he feels that only the truly skilled will play with a pump. there has been a number of times that he has played speedball with us with his beloved phantom. rat bastard still gets a lot of kills. but i try to be the shooter and not the shot when i play him.

he should play for team blowfish, an nppl team. those guys play with pumps and 10 round tubes and have schooled a few teams. me, i suck at the one shot one kill thing.

i hate playing tournaments with breeze cuz he'll have this 1000 plus dollar gun and shoot it one ball at a time. i keep telling him to be a machine gunner and not a sniper lol... old habits die hard i guess... bad thing is we are both playing the denver nppl next weekend and he's playing back behind me.

i told him over and over and over and over again that if he doesn't go through paint like a frat party goes through beer that i would shove that proto matrix right up his rear!!!

we are playing with dominion in case you guys are wondering, a division 2 team. cheer us on... hopefully with my uber 10 to 12 balls per second and my uber skills will get us into the final standing. if it doesn't happen, it's all breeze's fault... yeah that's right, i'm blaming him right now if we don't do well.... hahahaha!!!

You maybe right, I maybe wierd (insert crazy and I just borrowed a Billy Joel line), but, I have better sense than to bad mouth my backman just before a big tourny.

There could be a well placed single shot attempting to enter a place, once suggested as a spot to put a $1000 marker, as you crawl up a snake. :blink: :P :lol:

1. It hurts the other players pride to be bunkered by someone shooting one bps.

In terms of embaressment, i'd rather be bunkered by 10.
