Ion vs Shocker

I was on pbnation.com in the ion forum and they were saying that they would rather an ion over a shocker. What do you guys think. And lets do an Ion Vs______ what do yall think . What would be a good challenge for the ion?

i cant believe this..... how are you gonna put an ion over any other smartparts gun than maybe an impulse. and that is a big MAYBE. which i really seriously doubt it. it could probabl beat an bushy. because on the bushys the selionoid always goes out, and the lpr doesn't stay consistant.

i can list all 6 of the ion upgrades (barrel, feedneck, reg,QEVs,trigger,asa stuff)
i cant begin to list all of the impy upgrades......

so a pimped ion Vs. Pimped impy..........impy by far....

so with more capabilty, upgrades and protentical (sp?).......the ion cant match......

Some people think guns are better then other for what the price is. This post for example is perfect for what I am trying to prove..
I bet myb 10% of these people that posted in this topic have actully used the Ion and all the losers saying stuff like... "The Ion is way over rated" "I can name 6reasons the Imp is better then the Ion" Stupid things like these, Com'on now, a 300doller marker made by SP that shoots 17bps with break-beam eyes I kinda think thats why everyone likes it?
So people unless you have used the Ion then please stfu and stop saying stuff about it, But yea the Ion cannot compair to the Shocker but if you look at price wise, I would go with the Ion and save 800dollers...

I know people who have DM5's and can get beat by other people that use pumps, The kid probley using an Ion so he can get used to the speed and eventully upgrade it to a shocker or somthing, This (him having an Ion) also teaches him how to take better care of his guns, saying that an Ion sucks just becuase u beat some1 with one, thats pretty low and please stop this kinda of you noob..

ok to start my opinion dont even copare a ion to a shocker or a nerve or impy ive shot them all and the ion isnt as good as the other three. oh yea and the b2k4 (aka the bushy) kills the ion. the true answer is a ion is a entry level tourney marker and is real good for the price. In fact i own one and it works great for about 6 months now.

Every way? Ok now the Ion is cheaper but it does not "beat the imp in every way". It may come stock with breakbeam eyes or whatever that is another advantage and in my views that is about it. The ion currently has almost no upgrade potential due to it being new on the market. You complain the impulse is flawed because it has so many upgrades? WTF, It has that many upgrades because it have been around and people like there imps abd they like to customize them so the paintball market decided to make money off of the people. Wait for the ion to be out on the market for a year, products for it will come flooding in, High Flow Valves, New Bolts, Etc. Every single piece on that gun will be able to be traded out, and in your views, making it a "flawed marker".

The Ion doesn't NEED upgrades, that's why we don't have many yet. A valve is not customizing, a valve is a gun getting horrible shots per bottle. Same thing with a ram, and a bolt, and a LPR...
The Impulse is flawed, period. If you don't know the Impulse is discontinued you need to crawl out from under that rock.
The Ion is a far better gun. Common knowledge among the tournament world.

ion= has the same effcient problems as the impulse...

the Nerve is not the impusle slowed down....it is a made to go out of the box gun with out accesories needed.....

You moron. The Ion's a spool valve, or a blow forward. I think it's spool valve, but I'm not completely sure. It couldn't be that short and single tube without being one of the 2.

The Ion gets 1000-1400 shots per 68/45 stock, that owns a stock Impy.
