My dad used to do that when he was younger and drag raced back in windsor ontario. They did it on the streets back in the day.

its a show that comes on the speed channel in america. what they do is they negotiate 3 or 4 races and who ever wins the most the person who gets the most races gets the other dudes car

ha, good luck... i know someone that has been trying to get his stang on that show since it came out..

and i think its retarded, when it comes on i change the channel, the guys on there are so full of themselves, and the host needs to be shot... or run over by a tank. "I WANT 4 CAR LENTHS!!!" "NO!!! 3!!!" "4!" "3!!!" "HOWABOUT 3.5?!!!!"............................... "AND WE GET TO SPRAY!!!" and it all starts over again... and how they show the start of the race and then cut to a commecial... it pisses me off soooo much. what a stupid show.

tha host is a gigantic duche bag who thinks hes cool becuase he drives a white hummer with 6 wheels
and the music is soo horable just at least change the song once in a while im extremly tired of hearing..."walk awaaaay.....from meee my love..." (the song they play at the end)

i'm with him. if u brought a less powerful car or u cant handle ur car then u loose. it should be all head to head races only 1 shot at winning if u loose to bad.

The show can be lame but I like seeing the cars. A kid in my spanish class says his dad is a producer of the show, I didn't believe him until he brought half the class t-shirts lol.

I was watching the speed channel whilke in windsor and the new episodes of pinks start soon, that's what they said. That channel kicks *** though. 3 days straight of watching barret jackson and all, to bad I don't catch that channel here :(

yeah... his car was way crappier than the other one. he had like 7 car lengths at the start of the first race and won by a quarter... the second race he took the win by default... the 3rd the other guy won cause he broke his driveshaft, and the last one he only got lke 3 car lenths, and was creamed.

That really wouldn't work unless you had a decent amount of horsepower and a decent amount of time to redline the engine... I assume you're talking about just bouncing off the redline for a while..

yeah right... 4 seconds of redline with 90% of the cars on there would blow the engine. they take all the rev-limiters off. and the first thing you do is get some higher comp heads, 9-10 grand in a v8 with high comp heads shatters the pistons... and in turn upsets the torque of all the cylinder and you bend a con-rod... in turn blowing the ###### outa the thing!

why not drop like 3 gears... stuff it into 1st or something... overrevv teh engine, possibley screw up the tranny, dont bother throwing it into reverse as it has a better chance of surviving it..

my favorite was a year ago I believe... I can't remember the specific race I'm pretty sure it was a firebird vs a civic if memory is correct (probably not with how bad it has gotten)

and the racers are arguing over lengths and the civic guy wants like 13 or so lengths and the firebird driver laughs at him and is like "you can't come here and ask for respect for imports then demand 13 lengths" it was really funny how the exchange went down
