the lack of a lpr in the pmr will keep me away. persionally i notice the difference peformance wise in a marix and a shocker. without the lpr. the matrix is basically a shocker. so shoot the two and see what you like

Well it depends. Im only 15 so I cant go out and buy me a shocker, or PM7... So, I found out about the PMR and it seemed like a nice gun for its price. But if your stinkin' rich, and you had to decide between a PMR or a PM7... Why not go with the PM7? The PMR is strictly for those proto lovers who can't exactly step up to the real PM price.

the pmr is to compete with the ion basically, its pretty much the little brother of the pm7, just like the ion is the little brother of the shocker

Its not made to compete with the Ion. If it was made to compete with anything it was made to compete with the invert mini

considering the pmr idea came before the mini was even thought of....

wrong. when the ion came out it was the only gun around for its price that performed so well. it dominated the mid-range gun market and every since all other companys have been playing catch up to compete with the it. the pmr and mini are both meant to compete with the ion.

i dont think the pmr is that good, its made completely of plastic, and composite plastics. The ion just had a plastic shell, the pmr is pretyy much completely plastic

That was an extremely idiotic statement. I have a PMR, and how about you? You just gathered this information from other noobs and online photos. The grip is a rubberish material, with SOME POLYMER designs on it. The feedneck is the same as the grip, as well as the trigger, The trigger is metal with rubberish detail on the front of it. Infact, there isnt ANY plastic on it, its rubbery material. (Polymer I guess, correct me on this. I just know its not a cheap type of plastic)

So no, its not all plastic, not even close. Dont dis the PMR when you dont even know what the hell your talking about. The entire frame and body is a hard material (Im not sure what kind of metal) all except for the grip, trigger and feedneck. The feedneck is hard material with a polymer clamp. End of story, please dont post ANYTHING about the PMR again because you obviously dont know a thing about it.

Pfft, completely plastic. Bite me. Plastic parts or not, I have actually USED the gun and have seen how amazing it really performs. All the parts that displease you, can be replaced. So dont even worry about it. Sure the, the back of the frame my be plastic, but big deal. Im replacing the grips, trigger and feed neck, virtually ridding of all the materials that you seem to find dis-tasteful on the PMR.

Yea LT, dont bash the PMR without facts.

Body is all Aluminum, except for feedneck, trigger, eye covers, back cap, most of which I've bought metal ones for
