As with new members, more posts, a bad swear filter and what not, the flaming has increased. Can we either get mods who will do something(no offense to Dyedude, F.T. Phantom or Doorman as they are/were the most active). I see you admins on the site a few times a day, yet I haven't seen any closed topics, there looks to be no rules, and what not. This site is becoming dissapointing.
I am not asking to be mod, I only wish the ones we have now(again no offense) will do something.
Thanks.

I'll put my $.02 on this one. The admins you see spend most of their time debugging the system, checking to see if upgrades are done properly, etc. There is also the employees of pb.com retail store that are here periodically through the day. I'm not sure if they are admin status or not, but if they are logging in from the store they might.
The way I see it, letting the users see a little flaming and then the subsequent edit/delete/warning helps them see that we are applying the rules to everyone and not just a single person. I'll let a little flaming go on sometimes, generally if it is mild and just a single post in an entire thread, but when the bandwagoners show up then I pull out the guns

I have been trolling through... I have already deleted many topics and threads... You will never know the hassles I go through... It's so hard pushing the delete button  But yes, we are trolling through... mild flaming can stay but huge evident flaming is deleted faster than I can attack a piece of strawberry cheesecake :P Remember, if you see something uncalled for report it so that we can handle it.
The swear filter has been up... but a few days after this board was launched... apparantly the system won't filter those out that were posted before the swear filter, but the topic seemed good so it was left in. Though I curse like a sailor it was hard to remember all the expletives for the swear filter... figure that one....
You can also PM a mod to, it's your community and you do have a voice per say. :D

There are some good tools that ANYONE can use, but the bottom line is there are a lot of things going on and we are still trying to get everything (programming, look, mods, permissions, etc, etc) under control.
Thanks for the post and a list of "bad" words that you see would be greatly appreciated (I have to build the filter word by word)...
Overall, I believe we have a much better board now though. B)

A much better board :D Better features for Mods as well as users, increased content, etc.
I think we are all sitting here in the enjoyment stages of this and haven't gotten jaded by the nasty posts that generally get our goat. Though, with my two little ones bouncing around the house I have to take my frustrations out on you guys    :o

I haven;t noticed any flaming, but I'm so used to the no rules sites that I probably take it all as one big inside joke or something. Maybe I'm just blind, or maybe I just don't visit every single thread.
Are you sure it's not people ripping on their buds?
oh and joey, if you see hardcore flaming, use the report button ;)

Report button = your friend.
I've deleted several posts... Other things I just don't consider to be flaming.

Most of my posts are flaming lately. Thank you for deleting all the threads with pointless arguements.
