I was looking for a cheap timmy and saw the new defiant
is it worth $700?
does it shoot as fast as the other timmies?
i was just wondering because im also looking at the alias for $963 at actionvillage

I'm not sure what it can cycle at mechanically but the frenzy 127-4 is the board that it comes with and I believe it's capped at 25. It definatly has the capabilities that timmy's do but its a completely different gun. In this gun the only thing that is anywhat like a timmy is the trgger, nothing else. (oh yea and the grips.... lol)

First, upping threads other than B/s/t is not allowed.

Second, Defiants are not cheap timmies. They can cycle about 36 bps, do not use a ram sleeve and some other things but they are nice for the price

Defiants arnt timmies period. They are not the same. Defiant is its own line of gun.

The defiant is a great gun especially if your looking to save a little. I actually bought mine from 800 paintball for real cheap and they hooked me up with some free paintballs. The guy I ordered from Chris basically got me the whole hook up and helped me upgrade it, now i'm letting the paint pour on to everyone I play against, just the other day I smoked someone playing with an Angel Fly and another with a DM5 it is true the player is the biggest difference but the accuracy, speed, and weight of my Defiant couldn't be matched!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO FOR THE DEFIANT TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it shoots just as good as any timmy just comes with plainer milling and the stock parts arent as great as a timmys. but ive also heard alot of people having problems with these so i would wait if you want to buy one and wait for them to fix all of the flaws.

don't get it, it only shoots 15bps, get the 2k5 intimidator, its same price and it shoots 25 bps

I'll solve this, boblong said that he would rather shoot a timmy than a defiant. defaints are good but lately they have had a whole bunch of problems latley. get the 2k5ed timmy, its as good as a alias for less.

a defiant is spring returned. an intimidator is fully pnumatic on the forward motion, and return of the bolt.

so in escence, a defiant is like a bko. a more high end bko.

i use a 2k2 timmy, anda bko, and you can tell the difference in the consistancy, speed, and feal of both. the spring return guns are smaller in most cases. but not as reliable. theres more things that can go wrong in spring return, it has a noid, and a spring to fire the gun, where a pnumatic gun juts has a noid. i think i summed everything up well.

so save and get the 2k5. its worth every penny.
