Which Laptop Would Be Best?

I'm trying to get my parents and relatives to all pitch in money for one present for me for christmas. A laptop. I was wondering if you can tell me the best buy for me. It will mostly be used for World of Warcraft, internet, and occasional paper writing. Must be reasonable to 1,000 dollar stuff. Thanks.

dell has nice laptops, my dads is awesome, but for gaming i would ratherhave a desktop, more bang for ur buck. but if i could get any laptop i would get a mac. thats my dream computer.

im sure drumbum can help you out by building your own computer thats good enough for that or I would just go for an alienware.

Mac is the way to go. My iBook G4 is extremely fast for a laptop and you can play all the WoW you want. The first month you get Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel for free. Afterwards you can buy the software but mac comes with a program called TextEdit that is just like Word. I love my Mac and if you are wondering the shift from Windows to Mac, it isnt a problem at all. Actually Mac has a program called Boot Camp that allows you to run Windows Xp but that program is only for more expensive Desktops and Laptops (like Mac Book Pro). Hope i helped.
