My brothers Ipod locked its self up and it wont let him put in his code that he cant remember. The whole thing just froze up he cant do anything. what should he do?

did he lock it with the code of did it freeze? if it froze use the resrat method found in your manuel. If he forgot the password hook it up to his itunes and unlock that way.

hold down the menu and middle button to reset it if it froze and if he forgot his code plug it into itunes and itll undo the code

I fixed it I had to hold down the power button for about 2 mins. Thanks anyways

Not necessarily, I wouldn't say that until it starts becoming chronic.
Occasionally a lockup will happen.

That's why I have an iriver, they never have problems.

it happened to my sis as well and she to had to hold down the button.

btw how come those things lock up and all?
