its supppose to be a new portable music player smiliar to the ipod and is an ounce heavier and a tiny bit thicker

it comes in brown white and black and only come in 30 gig

has videos music photos and radio

also has a wi fi thing in it so u can share songs with other ppl with a zune

comes out on nov 14 for 250$

the screen is also larger than the ipods screen

the zune will only be supported by windows and not by mac

the online zune service will not debut with movies and tv shows for sale *you will still be able to get videos and tv shows*


i got this information for the magazine Business Week October 16, 2006


does ne one else know any more info on it cause it looks cool to me

Its probably gonna look like apeice of ######. PErsonally its an ipod knockoff, and mac owns, besides the fact i have a 30 gig ipod video. And i love, and as for screen size, anything bigger is rediculous.

i like it cause its windows... wich mean no itunes...
also it has wireless internet on it.... it allows you to text message between other zunes

For all you people that are intrested in stock the zune is going to bring microsofts stock up even though its just 1 dollar less then the ipod they are like a blue chip stock i think(not sure if thats wut my investment teacher said or not was sleepy) lol but its def good for microsoft.

they say he going to "retire" soon and when he dies all his money is going to one company im not sure if it microsoft or for like a cherity. Guess not all rich people are total assholes

Ya to bad all celebrities/famous people aren't like that. Many of the worlds poverty would be solved. Celebrities have so much money they don't even know what to do with it except spend it all on total utter stupidity like a 100 000$ watch, like wtf's the point of that? a 200$ watch will do the same pirate thing.

ROFL, U said macs own, ROFL! Omg, macs suck. Flat out do.... wanna know why? User interface.... it sucks..... just does. Mac's can't do half the crap that pc's can, and pc's can do more than macs. Also, macs cost so much money for the crap you get. much much more expensive than pc stuff. I'm not ragging on you alone man, don't get mad or anything. I just think it's funny that people think macs are good when they're not. Bill Gates stole their stuff, which was all stolen, and stole some other ppl's stuff, and made computers that macs just cannot touch unless they were to steal his stuff :)

Microsoft didn't steal the interface from mac, they only stole a gui, which apple stole from xerox. Anyway, the mac interface woulda been good, but apple screwed it up.

I don't get why the Zune is even being made...Apple INC. is owned by Microsoft...it doesn't make any sense to compete with yourself...I guess it really doesn't matter which sells better, Zune or Ipod, Bill Gates is going to make more money

Dont try to diss Bill Gates. He donates millions a year to charities and such. Oh, and dont think he donates money for tax write-offs. If he did that he wouldn't be donating as much money as he does.


The Zune looks like it is gunna be great. Just because it doesn't run on a Mac doesnt make it bad at all. You have to remember that Microsoft and Mac are competitors. Its not Bill Gates fault that the Zune isnt compatitable(sp) wiht Macs. His ideas for stuff can be over-ruled by the board of the Microsoft Corporation.

I assume they've fixed this by now, but for a while any music that was copy protected couldn't be put onto the Zune, I thought that was highly humorous.
