I'm gunna buy a better cocker than my trilogy. AT the field, everyone was telling me not to get one and to get an Ion. I tried to tell them that i don't want an electronic gun i want a cocker. Y is everyone telling me not to get one? Do they have problems im not aware of?

For one, the Ion is the new 'bandwagoner' marker, meaning every sheep and their dog has/wants one.
For two, a regular cocker is a little different than the Trilogy, but if you are familiar with the Trilogy then a regular cocker isn't much of a step up.
Don't pay attention to the people that tell you not to get one, just get the marker you want :D

Just be ready for knowing how to tune the marker to your needs, or have a airsmith check it out.

Go ahead a get a nicer cocker. You don't have to keep up with the Jonse's like the other guys. Besides, if it gets to tricky for you, just slap a pump handle on it, can't get simpler than that.

Thanks, i am defiently getting a cocker. I still think they're the best out there, i just was getting doubtful. i think im just getting whatever hogan's alley (the local pro shop) has used. THe guy there said you can get $900 cockers for like 300 now. THis is because im cheap. Besides, i can always customize, re-paint it, or get a sweet chrome look on it if i don't think it's good. THanks again, i should have it within 2 weeks.

are cockers hard to maintane when you eblade them?

No their even easier to maintain.
Go by feel, not by looks or maintence

the ion is a pretty nice gun. used one at the shop again tday and can't find a flaw. but i would still take a cocker over it because you can make an ion pump... <_< yet
but it isn't the gun it is the player.

An evil omen is a closed bolt right. And its an electro right. So isn't it all the same goods as an electro cocker for a lot less $$$. Please give a reply if u know.

No, it isn't a cocker. The original cockers are only made by Worr Games.
The Omen is akin to asking if the Psychoballistics is a cocker.... it just isn't the same.
The operations of a cocker are external, while the Omen internalized the cocking. Omen parts are plastic while cocker parts are metal. You'd have to get your hands on both to see the true differences.

Wait, what parts are plastic to Omens D-man. None that I could remember that are important.
Anyways he spammed 4 or 5 diff. threads w/ the same question.

I know he did.....
The cam rod looks to be plastic, but that may not be for the Omen 2.0 as I can't download the .pdf file from Evil to get a look at the schematics :(

Oh I see. I believe it is. It is in no means crappy plastic. The new 1.5 cam arms are made to handle the halo's pressure.

Thanks to the jerks who sell them for so low on ebay. I think the new 2.0s cost
319$ right now or something like that. Evil can't rasie the price cuz they need to compete with the Ion and Wrath.

The omens are good because they come ready out of the box, good regulator, cam, stuff like that, just need fast hopper and an hpa tank is what everyone says about it

An E cocker is easier to maintain but sometimes you have to mess with the reg a little. It still amazes me that a gun with such long cycles cant dish out that many balls. I love my E orracle. I have shot all guns and none are better than karnis and orracles (to me, prefrance plays a huge roll)
