Depends on the event and the producers.

They are not allowed by some because they do not have a way to lock out a full auto mode/affect. You can sweet spot the trigger and get it to shoot in full auto. There are few producers willing to foot the insurance bills for full auto.

as a rule of thumb, no.

it depends on the response...on a tippmann its typically not because it has a sweet spot but on a 'mag RT they are because they have no sweet spot

If semi is defined as one trigger pull, one PB shot, and, the tourny is semi only, the Mag RT is not legal either. Mag RT is one trigger pull, two shots. One on the back pull and one on the release.

No. My dad has an RT Pro and it's just semi. One pull, one shot. It doesn't double shoot. It's got the ULE kit so you can walk it really fast, but it's still semi only.

I am thinking back to the original Mag RT. It worked like that. There are still a few around.

Oh. I still don't see any reason they worry about auto. A ramping semi shoots just as fast and easy as auto. I don't care if they use auto against me or not. Though it would be kind of bad to get bunkered on auto, but not really any more so than on a ramping marker. So it's whatever. Rules are rules.

the simple facts that insurance companies are lame asses is why they make a big dela about it

You need to keep pulling the trigger for ramping. Full auto is a one pull and hold motion. There is a better chance that someone will get over shot to the point of a accident happening with full auto.

That is the thought processes of the safety guys. If you have to consciously pull the trigger, there is a better chance you will quit shooting before someone gets hurt. That is the reason insurance companies don't like the idea of full auto.

I know I have seen new players do bizzar things when shooting, and, demonstrate very little control over thier actions. I would have hated to see one of them with a full hopper and full auto.

Are they allowed in things like big games or woodsball scenario games?

Depends on the fields and event producers. You need to check with the people who are running the show.

Respnse isnt legal because it has a sweet spot.
