I am thinking about getting a WGP prostock 2005 cocker, i am currently running a spyder xtra and this would be my first cocker. I know that cockers are trickey to get used to, and they run very differently, Id like it very much if somebody could help me with some terms, useful hints, suggestions, etc. I have a friend who has a cocker and he mentioned something to me about 'timing' help is greatly appreciated thx!

The one anyone needs to know about Cockers are, "if it isn't broken, don't ###### with it"
Timing is only needed after new parts are installed(certain parts), or after a complete tear down.
Things you need to get use to is
Ram, Lpr(low pressure regulator), 3-way. I would find out how these work. There are many different sites that show how(don't remember any off the top of my head). Some other useful terms are sweetspotting and yeah.
Otherwise get familiar with how they work. Read the manual before you start using it.
Oh and one more thing, before you air it up, practice fully pulling and releasing the trigger. If you don't, you will "shortstroke" This will cause an uneven cycle which leads to chopped or broken paint.
if you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
