So I Fried My Power Supply

thats the reason i havnt been on lately... i smelled burning circiut boards a few mins before it just shut down... had to buy a new one... $2 for a tower at goodwill that had one!!! beat that!!!

not a good idea, powersupply is the lifeline of your computer, if that fails all else can get stuck with no place to go, (memory stuck in ram, video still in video card), get a power supply from antec to preserve the life of your pc

Haha true to what drumbum said but I think proanti could care less. He doesn't exactly have any "high-end" components anyway if I remember correctly. How many watts does it put out?

Actualy, a bad PSU can lead to dead components... not just powerless components.... just an FYI

haha... think i care?! i have un-plugged this thing tons of times, turned it off by the button in the middle of stuff, and tons of other things... the only thing i care about is my video card and my hdd... everything else can go to hell! its just a matter of time before this thing blows out too... i just need to get a new comp...

mine stays on no matter what... about the only difference is that mine cost about $350 new... id say its worth around $5 now... mayyyyybe.
