I'm thinking about buying an autococker pump and upgrading it. I dont wanna mess it up though. What would i need to do to it so i can get good accuracy and stay alive vs. semi's. I also want to know what hopper and co2 tank i should get.

first off i would suggest a CCM S5 over a WGP Sniper but thats just me and with a pump you want the best accuracy you can get so i would advise using HPA something along the lines of a 45/45 or a 68/30 tank and get a good reg and a nice barrel kit

Well Im not the richest person alive i only have 80 dollars right now and i only make 20 dollars every 2 weeks thanks to my paper route. And if i were to spend 300 dollars on a im sorry to say it wouldnt be a pump. I just wanna test out pumping so im trying to be cheap about it 150 or less would be fine. I'm also not so sure about high pressure, i live in a small town and idk if anyone would even know how to fill it up so i think ill stick with Co2 how big of a difference is there?

You can find cheap Sniper style pumps on eBay all day for around $100-$200. They're usually already set up. If you are using a co2, I would suggest you get a Palmers Stabalizer for it. You can get one at www.palmers-pursuit.com (http://www.palmers-pursuit.com), it'll keep it a lot more consistent. I use the little 50 round Brass Eagle hopper, but any small gravity feed hopper would be sufficient. A 12oz tank would be an alright size, it'll last about 800 paintballs which is a lot more than I shoot in a day. Any good barrel kit would be good, but they're expensive. I put a Smart Parts Progressive on my Chipley and it works great. I'm glad there are more people getting interested in pump. I'll be glad to answer any more questions you have.

For the best consistency, the barrel/paint match up is the number one factor. Find a paint that fits the barrel. Just tight enough not to roll out and loose enough not to jam and break in the barrel. HPA would help with the consistency, but, since you are on a CO2 budget, CO2 will do the job. The PPS reg

If you are on a limitted income, used is the route to go. Look around on ebay or other places and see what is available.

Go with the CO2 that fits you the best. The hopper is not overly important. As long as it feeds the marker and you like it, any hopper will be fine.

When will Dirty Dan ever convince you(FT) that paintballs dont move fast enough for barrel to paint match to make a difference.

Consistency is everything for accureacy

If I'm not mistaken a PPS reg costs about the same as those small HPA tanks(its been a while).

I had the grand idea of buying a old cocker and putting a pump kit on it, but after I bought the cocker I ran out of funds, so I kind of stopped paintballing.........

Durty Dan has sold his gear and wandered from the PB scene. I should add rude gestures and comments here, but, I always liked and respected him. May he go in peace and enjoy success in whatever endeavor he is partaking in.

Barrel/paint match is important to consistency (Note: not accuracy, to many variables in a PB for that) The PB is to big, ball breakage. To small, they like to fly off in odd directions and bad patterns. Not to mention rolling out of the barrel on you. You get better efficiency with a good fit also. You use less air to achieve a particular velocity if the PB seals well.

I played to long with Draxxus/Diablo not to know this. Small bore paint in a mid to large bore barrel can be a pain. ZAP and RP/PMI always shot better for me, but all the local fields are field paint only and Draxxus/Diablo fields.

I always had good luck with RP/PMI and ZAP in the standard AA barrels. I haven't had a chance to shoot any in a couple of years. Unless they have gone to a smaller diameter PB, they should work well for you.

Now, would you like to explain why you have gone into the forbidden multi account realm? You need to end one before starting another. The best deal is to get a admin to change the name for you.

I will disable the old account. That will take care of it. Just remember to notify a admin or at least the mods before trying a change. Multi accounts become a problem when people start abusing them.

go for a 12 or 9 oz tank. The brass eagle 50 round pocket is great but if you can try to get a 100 round hopper. I had one but my buddy (a fellow pumper)shot it and broke it while we were practicing snap shooting.
