Im Confused what to do?

Please help me out here guys.. read the story, then vote to help me out.

The last week I have been very confused on what my decision is too be I know I keep switching back and forth to three different guns, My A5 that I own right now, Ion, and DM4. I am not sure what gun I should have, and there is a story to go with it..

I love the A5 don't get me wrong it is a very good gun, im just not sure if it is good for my style of play. I have used my A5 about two times. 2 months ago about I got it, and I never thought I would play tourney ball back then. My friend two days later after I bought the A5 w/ Flatline he says, "hey guys we might be thinking of starting a speedball tourament team." The problem is now we probably will be touraments once and a while (not every week), but a few to name the least. We might be doing some scenario's, or recreation also with woods and speedball.

Now here is the problem, I have been deciding as I said above to maybe sell my A5. I have been thinking about the Ion in particular, the DM4 is a gun I want but I know since it costs so much it would be 2 years at least until I would get it. The Ion is at a pretty good cost. $264 I can get it for. I want to make sure I get the right paintball gun that will fit my style of play.

Since I am doing tournies once and a while, I know the A5 isn't the best gun to use for them. I am a back player, I know I could get an E-Grip, but if I was going to put money for that I would rather put the money in a new gun.

I am completely lost what to do ... the guys on PBReview, 36-3 said I should get the Ion.

Im really unsure what to do.

I hope you can vote, and help me decide so im not confused anymore.

Also on a side note, I am getting a job, and selling other paintball gear, and things I dont use. Also I could sell A5, brand new Dye Ultralite barrel, price I dont think would be a problem, if I did that. Im just really confused if I should do that or not.

Hey man I say keep the A5 and get the 2-trigger you were talking about. With that you could always scope people out from the back like I do sometimes.

stick with the A-5 and save up for a Proto Matrix which is the same thing as a Dye DM4 only it doesn't say Dye and doesn't have the huge price tag on them...dont bother with the ION its at about the same grade as your gun and would cost quiet a bit to get it set up all nice like but yea just get an e-trigger for your A-5 and you'll be good to go then when you have the money for your trix you can sell your A-5 and use it to get nice lil upgrades for your trix. just my 2 cents.

well ion cause in tourni play its bad i dont like it cause if you look down the right side of the gun bam a big thing is blocking youre vision but you can upgrade it alot i dont kno much about tippys

I'm sorry to say it but go with the Ion. An A-5 with Flatline is just no good for a back player in speedball. It would cost you about $130-$140 to get the egrip and a JCS blade trigger so you can reach high rates of fire...even then the Flatline can't handle this. It's just gonna cost you more money to get the A-5 up to par...sell the A-5 and get an Ion. I love A-5's and all, but i'm just being real with you.

Whoops I wrote that wrong I have a Dye Ultralite barrel. Maybe that will change your though? I forgot to say I returned the flatline and got the ultralite barrel, sorry about that.

I still say go with the Ion. You'll have to spend $140 bucks to get your A-5 to shoot fast. I just think that Ion's are better than A-5's when it comes to speedball. If you dumped enough money into an A-5 it will shoot better than an Ion...but the question is, are you willing to do that. The only issue I have with A-5's and speedball is the damn cyclone feed system. You try to aim down the right side of the marker and there's a big ol' dookie black plastic thing in your line of sight....no good.

Sell ure a5 but w/e u do dont get an ion. they are just way overated by the newbs that own them and others that wixh they did.I would suggest an aotucocker they might not b as fast asthe ion but they have dead eye accuracy and are quite easy to upgrade if u want to shoot faster.

the reason i say get an ion is becasue youre a begginer in tournies right? next you could always get an ion, then get a used tippy 98 and have a woods ball and speedball gun
