Today I was playing paintball and got schooled. The guy that got me started pumping challenged me to one on one in speedball. I was like well sure. I've got the S5 Pump and he's got the J2 with a Revy on it. He just kept whipping the crap out of me. 5 out of 5 games, I got whipped. I was humbled, never before has somebody dogged me like that ever. :( I wasn't sore at him or anything, just humbled. Though later that day I was glad to have him on my team. :) We played a 3 v 3, pumps vs semis. We whipped em' bad. It was fun though. I've been needing a challenge for a while, and I got it today. LOL  Have you guys ever had that kind of day?

We've all had games/days like that. What matters at the end of the day, is that you are not bitter at the person who killed you, like you said you need to be humble. That's when you realize, "Hey, maybe I'm not as good as thought, and I have more to learn." It's all part of the learning experience.
Practice makes perfect. He got you started pumping, so he obviously has more experience than you. What matters is that you are learning, and at the end of the day, he is still on your side. :D

Exactly. Next Sunday there's going to be five of us crazy pumpers, including me and him. We're going to side by side pumping up on the semis. I'll get him back though, me and him are going to play some more 1 on 1's. I did get a good learning experience from that though. What works against semi players, doesn't always work against pump players.

There is always someone out that can beat you at any given time.
When you are on a roll that is hard to remember. Been there, done that. Both ways.
You must have a tell he can read automaticaly. Most kids I put out on a regular basis will come out of a bunker a certain way or at a certain time. My favorite are the ones that get tunnel vision and forget about the rest of the world. They make good barrel tag victims.

I figured out that I just played too aggressive. I'm a front player, so I like to play hard and be up in your face, but Rineheart was a little smarter than that. It was a lot harder for me to move and shoot, than it was for him to shoot at a standstill. So I kept getting tagged, when I was moving. Well we did have a snap shooting battle the last game, that one was real close, I brushed one by his face the same time he tagged my goggles. I played a lot more conservative that game. It's good practice though. I've been saying for a long time, that I want to play against other pumpers and I got my chance today. LOL

I hadnt had a day like that, too new. ;) . Anyway, yeah, I know Im gonna get butt kicked a lot, but not yet, I have some time before I get totally whooped. Sounds unusual for you, you always have the "I win a lot" features. But I mean, the guy who got you pumping? Close to an easy decidement considering he got you pumping.
