I've been paintballing a few times, outside, in the woods only. Just wondering which gun would be better, and more upgradable.

Most guys will say the Tippmann is more upgradable, but they're limited upgrades, barrel, response trigger, drops and limited to things such as that. Spyders have a lot more functional upgrades, but if you play mostly woods a Tippmann would suit your needs better. It's a lot more sturdy and a heartier design than the Spyders and would hold up better in a lot of woods games.

I think I have a newbie in distress radar in my head. I just seem to be drawn to questions like that pretty quick and I'm pretty practiced at typing up the answers. They're all basically the same.

 , very true. People need to use the search, and just look where they are posting, and they might find the answers to the questions they were going to ask.

The spyder is good for speedball. The barrel is crap, though. The tippman 98 is nice and accurate. I've got both so I can't be much more help. Unless...

eventualy when u get good u r gonna want 2 be able to shoot faster and there is no way a single trigger tipman can keep up with the double trigger spyder. plus everyone has a 98c.

There are pretty much the same amount of Tipp's and Spyders; alot. And the Tippmann can keep up with most Spyders (well not the 30bps, but come on), it's just not as light wieght as they are.
