Proxy servers aren't illegal. Using an online anonymizer is the best way to do this. There are many sites out there that will block access if they can not communicate with the browser properly so anonymous surfing isn't always possible.

Yeah, they are great for getting around blocks unless the proxies themselves are blocked. <_<

I prefer VPN tunneling myself personally... FAR less speed degration and covers all ports...

Socks 4/5 are my second choice...


AND

It depends what network your on, what your accessing, policies for all connections, etc. as to if you can goto jail or have charges filed against you...etc....
