I Pulled this old gun of mine out of the closet to play with. I always called it a trracer but now that I'm looking at it there are no markings on the entire marker. The only info i see on it is the grip ID. "lonestar ordinance" "stowaway 2"

This gun shoots great and is in awesome shape. I want to fit it with a 16 inch All American but I'm not so sure that will be possible. If anyone knows what this thing is I would be grateful. (the threadless stickers are a recent addition)

thanks

You posted in wrong section maybe?... looks like its been moved though. Rezing = bringing old threads back to life.... at least ones that should remain dead... a few exceptions, marker pic. threads... anything that has become relivent again...like say, an old political thread, with a subject now back in the news... but just as easy to make a new thread, so in general... a week old is dead.

edit: oh yea, this may not help much... but the gun is about as close a copy of a tracer as I have ever seen... and not actually be a trracer... writing on the grip is useless... same grip used on 20+ different guns, thats just the name of the grip. No other writing, huh?

Definately not a Trracer. An old Diablo pump maybe.

The oval trigger guard screams Tippmann, but the SL68's had an under arm pump rod instead of side mounts. Trracers, Mavericks, and Hornets all had a sweep back to the front of the trigger guard but the rest of it looks exactly as should be (which matches just about any of this style pump). The Kingman Hammer series have an oval trigger guard, but they have a knob on the front/bottom of it that is pretty unique.

Whatever it actually is, it sure is pretty and in very good condition. You're going to have a lot of fun with her! :D

It sure is fun. when I first set her up to play I clocked her at 325fps on the first shot. Tuned her down since then but it still shoots sweet.

I am going with ypg on this one. The cast frame and pump arm look to be a early Diablo pump. Maybe a very early version before they started printing the Diablo on the body. I remember them having the lonestar grips.

Off the top of my head I have to say diablo as well however there are so many variations of the rf nelson clone that it is hard to be sure.

BTW just FYI the stowaway 2 is a very common pump gun as it is the name of the grip made by lonestar used on many otherwise unlabled nelson clones. Stowaway cause you can put stuff in the grip.
