ok i went, there was no where near 6000 players. maybe all around including, staff and vendors, even then close to 4500 but not 6000. first off its very one sided this past year, there were 2150+ allies versus 600 germans. i think that its a waste for germans, because they steamroll you, the staff sets it up so the allies steam roll the germans and if you decide to be german, good luck because you'll need it. in all honesty. i am probably not going to return.

My teammates got to go but I missed the chance.. I will be getting to go this year however. I heard they have a lot of vendors you can buy/look at around your time of playing there. If you are into airball they have an airball field where they have people playing. I believe even a 3 man tournament there?

My teammates told me the actual scenario game was fun, it sounds like a great scenario, I can't wait to go!

DUDE DDAY F'IN ROCKS. Last year was the only year the Germans were extremely outnumbered. The Germans had a winning streak of 3 or 4 years 3 years ago so it stays pretty even. But last year was pretty bad. I played with the allies and will be with them again. Theres a lot of people switching from allies to Germans and they're setting up major defenses (Especially on the wall) so this year will be tuffer. I hate to say it but I anticipate a German victory. Will be a fun year though. They changed most of the objectives and have new units and beaches. It's going to be rockin this year....HOPE YOU ALL GO!!! :lol:

I'm planning on going. not sure which side i will play. spec ops is takin their tank and a new one they are designing and playing on the axis. they will own. their takin i think 10 sets of the a5 double troubles.

yeah those tanks are fun untill they over shoot the ever living piss out of you, i was on the recieving ebd of it and as i was walking out they decided to put a few more into me. All and all spec ops is full of ######. ###### holes that know hoe to make mponey but ###### holes none the less

website is oklahomadday.com i belive. It is a couple of days of smaller scenario games and then they have the big Operation Overlord Landing at the end of the week and it goes over a span of 2 weeks. There are a ton of vendors there and alot of awesome training courses to take. If I had the money I'd go.

Span of two weeks??? Ummm no, the even is all week with all sorts of things to do all week. Then on Saturday you play all day and Sunday morning. (Some say the game on sunday is an expansion of saturday but it doesnt really go with the saturday game.) Any way I just wanted to say again, dont listen to any hipocrytes that say its crap. DDay freaking rocks and is defenitely worth ever penny and minute of your life.

Allies have Owned the last two years I've gone.

THAT is all going to change this year! Many major Scenario teams are switching to the German side, the staff is changing the format and objectives of the game around as well and the Germans have a definite advantage, IMO, this year.

There has never been more than 4500 players at D-Day, maybe that will change this year, who knows. Last year the rain was the biggest thing that caused the lopsided numbers, Germans get stuck waiting in trenches waiting for the Allies to attack.

I will be going again this year, playing for the 101st Alpha Company. I believe every serious paintballer ought to go at least onc intheir life. The sight of 4000 paintballers on 500 acres is just amazing. Vendors there the whole wek long, speedball field going every day, along with other little mini scenario games, and this year there will be an SPPL tournament on Thursday and Friday. SPPL is a ten man tournament woodsball game that lasts an hour and has two teams fighting for three bases, with reinsertions every ten minutes. It's pretty cool.

Hope to see everyone there, it's worth the trip just meeting players from all across the country.
