anybody else into the tuner scene here?

im pretty new to it, but im getting into it.

ew......tuning....why not just add pure muscle and not worry about mpg?

yea im more into muscle but i was wondering if they had any interesting rides.

i had a vw rabbit cabrio that i was kinda tuning, had the exhaust all redone and coming out just below the right door. also had a short shifter and some other stuff. engine was rebuilt with higher compression pistons but it ended up blowing out the plug threads in the head. so needless to say that got sold...

that is one hell of a car. pics or shens. if you do have it props to you.



with no regard to the quote i have been into it wayyy before the fast and the furious movies. but those movies kinda steered me away from cars. seems like everyone buys an import puts visual horsepower and think they are racers.

haha, yeah... you should see my highschool parking lot! i had some pictures of my friends toyota when he made a body kit out of cardboard, but the memory card that the pics were on got lost...

I'm getting into it, don't know a whole lot yet but I'm reading and learning plus I got friends who are into it so they help me out when I have questions.

yea its an rb26dett
so far it puts out 870ish rwhp and about 840ish foot pounds of torque
btw i made ofe of the pics pretty in photoshop lol

you said you were going to the shop to take pics... but those pics are at different stages of assembly (wayyyy to much for just one day)... and there are some minor differences... i think im gonna have to call shens unless you can take a pic with a sign that says pbc or something.

the car has been their for about a week and i was their for about 3 hours took the turbos off in first pic to clean out the exhaust fins
3rd pic was when the cam cover was off their was a ticking sound on the intake cam
taking the covor off takes 5 min
and the 2nd pic with everything on i photoshopped
made intake tubes shiney got rid of the letters on turbo and made em shiney
but yea next time i go to the shop ill take sum new pics

how did you photoshop em? cause i sure would like to know. i can also see some wiring differences...

the wireing was removed because they were for the stock MAF so we went and ripped em out
and photo shop isnt hard to use

well no ###### its not hard to use, im that master at it, id just like to know how you got the reflections from the syrrounding things to appear on there... what steps did you use... etc...

few hours with the eye dropper and the blur tool and thats the result......
no wonder why my gf says i dont pay enought attention to her haha

hmm... do it with pic #2 then.... just one turbo... i just wanna see it done...
