I'm kinda new to mags so I was wondering where I could find some general info on them, like how they work, etc. Also, just curious, if I had like 300 to spend on a mag, what setup should I get and what kind of performance will I get out of it(bps, accuracy/consistency, durability, etc)?

^^ yeah lvl 10 bolt or HES (hall effect sensor) will be needed to stop chops, a cocker threaded body costs $40 i think
The level 10 bolt stops the chops.....The Hall Effect sensor is for the trigger to activate the selenoid ( this is in an Emag) There is a ULE body that has the "cocker" threads, but it is an option. You could order it from the factory with the ULE body at www.airgun.com . The standard body uses a twistlock barrel, that only AGD uses (not to many aftermarket barrels)
You might want to check out www.automags.org , its a forum mostly dedicated to the automag. There are people on there that are huge fans of the Automags and can help you out. Check out the B/S/T forum, somebody always has some deals on guns and parts. Also, as said before, ebay is an option for good deals if you know what you are looking at. There are a couple of custom shops that will put a gun together for you, check the Dealers section of the Automags.org forum

I got a Diablo Mongoose with a viewloader evolution 2. If you upgrade the evolution it will pull 25 bps and the marker will go 21. OH HELL YEAH. The markers 150 on ebay and if u look hard enough you can get the evolution 2 for 50 bucks. Then thats gives you 100 bucks for upgrades or to buy 100 double cheeseburgers from McDonalds.
